Our History
ICM was founded by Kate Caravella and Meg Bernard in 2001 in response to the growing need for professional intervention specialists and to assist the many individuals planning on starting their recovery process in South Florida. Kate and Meg are sisters and the company remains a family owned and operated firm. Both Kate and Meg have maintained reputations within the community as being highly skilled, compassionate, and experienced intervention specialists and case managers.
In 2006, ICM Associates added an adminstrative assistant to assist in supporting both offices and our growing clientele. In 2007, the need to open an office in Houston, Texas arose and ICM opened a branch office in Sugar Land, Texas.
In 2007, ICM hired two additional intervention specialists who were experienced with ICM's model of care and were able to add their professional expertise to better serve the families that needed our help.
In 2008, the need to add another full time case manager our of our Delray Beach, Florida office arose. Throughout our growth, ICM has maintained our individuality and stayed focused on what matters; individualized and personal attention to our clients and the needs!
Our Offices
Delray Beach, Florida
Delray Beach has long been known as the "recovery capital of the world" due to its abundance of treatment resources and general locale. This office is supervised and managed by Meg Bernard and is staffed with two full time case managers and two full time intervention specialists. This office serves indivdual clients in all parts of Palm Beach County and northern Broward County.
Madeira Beach, Florida
This office location is on the west coast of Florida and is managed by Kate Caravella, founder of ICM Associates. It is considered ICM's "main office" and it serves clients in Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg and it's surrounding neighborhoods.
Sugar Land, Texas
Our Texas office is located in the suburbs of Houston, Texas and is managed by Beryl Levy who joined ICM in 2007. This ICM office serves the city of Houston and it's suburbs.
ICM Intervention Specialists facilitate family intervention within the States of Texas and Florida, nationwide, the Carribean, and Western Europe.
Our Fees
ICM Associates is a private pay firm that strives to provide cost effective and highly confidential services to clients without the barriers of insurance or third party payors. Historically, insurance and third party payors do not reimburse for intervention or case management services.
Our case management services are billed per session hour and sessions fee's are not due at the time of service. ICM provides our case mangement clients with payment flexability and are typically billed on a monthly basis.
Intervention services are all inclusive (ouside of long distance travel) and are billed as a flat fee. A deposit consisting of one half of the agreed upon fee is required upon intitiation of services. The remaining half of the fee is due on the day of the intervention meeting.
Treatment matching/assessments/ and discharge planning services are billed as a flat fee and payment is due upon the first session.
For the convience of our clients, ICM Associates accepts personal checks, American Express, Visa, and MasterCard as forms of payment.
