ICM Staff members are specifically trained to assist both individuals and their families effectivly cope with the day to day struggles that often accompany those with substance abuse, mental health, and eating disorders. The ICM team is committed to providing our clients, our collegues, and our communities with committed and personalized services. Our staff strictly abides by professional code of ethics and federal confidentiality regulations.
Meg M. Bernard, CBHT.
Meg Bernard is co-founder of ICM Associates and is the managing director of our Delray Beach, Florida office. She serves as the lead case manager and lead intervention specialist out of this office. Meg has over 13 years of professional experience and specializes in working with individuals with severe dual diagnosis, eating disorders, and clients that are especially prone to relapse. Meg’s educational background is in nursing, social science, and addiction studies. She is certified by the State of Florida as a Certified Behavioral Healthcare Technician. Meg has been co-facilitating family interventions for over a decade. She is a member in good standing of the NAADAC.
Kate Caravella, CAC, NCAC 1, BRI 1
Kate Caravella is co-founder of ICM Associates and is the lead case manager and lead intervention specialist out of our Madeira Beach, Florida office (Tampa Bay Area). She has sixteen years of professional experience working within the fields of substance abuse and mental health. She has a BSW degree with a minor in Women Studies. Kate is a Certified Addictions Counselor within the State of Florida. Additionally, Kate is a level one Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor and a level one Board Registered Intervention Specialist. She specializes in working with individuals at risk for relapse, dual disorders, families in crisis, and eating disorders. She is a member in good standing of the NAADAC.
Elena M. Johnston, BSW.
Elena Johnston initially joined ICM Associates, Inc. in 2006 as a case manager out of our Delray Beach, Florida office. She then relocated to the Tampa area and worked as a case manager out of this office. Elena currently works as a per diem intervention specialist with ICM Associates. She has a BSW and specializes in working with young adults, women, individuals with substance use disorders, and treatment resistant individuals. She is an experienced intervention specialist. Elena works fulltime as an admissions coordinator for a well known treatment center specifically for women in Tampa, Florida. She is currently pursuing certification as a Certified Addictions Professional in the State of Florida.
Beryl Levy, MS.
Beryl joined ICM Associates in 2007 and is the managing director and lead case manager in our Sugar Land, Texas office. She has earned degrees in Education and Psychology and has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Beryl has been employed as a life coach, teacher, tutor, and wellness program coordinator. She possess excellent clinical skills which she has employed working with teens, young adults, and adults with co-occurring mental health, substance abuse, and learning disorders. Additionally, Beryl is a certified personal trainer and massage therapist. She specializes in working with individuals who are dually diagnosed, have issues related specifically to mental health, and young adults.
